“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” -Picasso
I was born and grew up in England, in the 'Black Country". In the same area Tolkien lived that inspired his vision for the "Shire".
My mother was a British ballroom dancing champion and my father a drummer, I guess this is where my artist soul comes from.

My mother was a British ballroom dancing champion and my father a drummer, I guess this is where my artist soul comes from.
I grew up an only child and since it rained a lot, I spent countless hours alone in my "studio" creating art, if not there, then playing in our abundant garden that was filled with the most amazing flowers with the most intoxicating perfumes.
I attended the Alice Ottley School for Young Ladies, in Worcester, a historic and prestigious school. Past teachers there included Lewis Carroll and Edward Elgar. This is where my education and love of art, words, and music was completely elevated and my passion ignited.
Moving to the States in my late teens, and subsequently traveling the world, I have continued in my pursuit of art and music.
I have seen such breathtaking historical treasures, met amazingly talented artists and musicians from many different countries, all of which have taught and inspired me.
I owned a floral and design studio for over twenty years, specializing in creating floral art, events and spaces for my clients. This is what makes my heart happy.
I am always exploring and adventuring in all mediums and aspects of art. You will always find me enjoying a gallery, great food or live music.
I use many different mediums. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
I love to work with flowers and organic matter, creating art which I find more beautiful because of its temporary nature and the way it impacts the viewer.
Painting is such of love

Painting is such of love of mine, usually in acrylic, watercolor or inks. I enjoy the way these mediums flow and can be manipulated by my brush.
By using vintage and nostalgic items, I create sculptural collages, and refashion and re-purpose items, forcing the viewer to see something familiar in different ways.
Architecture and design is another aspect of art that draws my passion. I have designed and decorated countless rooms for my clients, being able to create a place for someone to enjoy daily is a wonderful thing!
In a complete departure from that, poems and lyrics are another way I like to express myself, it is almost like bleeding thoughts and feeling onto a page, so therapeutic and such a release. I find writing an immensely soulful experience.
I also love playing bass guitar very much!
The beauty I see, the wonderful imperfections, uniqueness and sheer exquisiteness of the blooms and blossoms I work with, always inspire me.
Embraced by the goth culture at a young age, it showed that there is beauty to be found in darkness, I found inspiration there too.
I am classic vintage meets countryside, with a generous dash of Goth

I am classic vintage meets countryside, with a generous dash of Gothic and Rock and Rock vibes. I am Tolkien greets Jane Austen with a Mary Shelley edge, I am Alice in her Wonderland, an eclectic mix of all these things in my head and heart.
I find inspiration in the sensuality of life, the art of nature and of others, and probably above all, music. Music always opens the gates for my passion like nothing else, inspiring me utterly, it is my soul... and I found a most beautiful, magnificent muse, who fuels my fire absolutely.
